"The Framing of Joe Paterno" Update

Dear "Framing Paterno" Mailing List Members:

I have a couple of very important items to share with you....

First, we have started to release some videos from our first State College shoot. We have created a page at www.FramingPaterno.com for all of them You can view them at this link.

Please share this page with as many people/sites as you can and ask others to do the same.

Secondly, the movie project is now at a very crucial crossroads. I strongly believe that a major documentary film is the only way the truth of this matter will ever be told and the only chance for our side to change the media's narrative.

However, this endeavor will be extremely difficult and will not happen by magic. I am more than happy to donate my time and efforts, but I can not go into debt on this project.

The next step in this journey requires me to obtain a voluminous amount clips of television coverage of this story. Because there is a one year window for obtaining them, and because I am hoping to put out a summary/trailer video online for the anniversary of Joe Paterno's firing, I need money and I need it now.

At a minimum, I need $10,000. Otherwise, an extremely important deadline will pass and there may not be any way to catch up. This is going to be a step by step process and, unfortunately, if this step is missed, it is likely that the project will die.

Should you like to contribute to this very specific cause, please do so at this link.

Perhaps even more importantly, please send that link to anyone you think might be interested in helping this cause.

For those of you able to contribute more than $100, I can promise you at least 2 DVDs of the movie (assuming the film actually gets made which, unfortunately, I can NOT guarantee at this time).

Should you be able to contribute $1,000 then please do NOT go through the website, but rather email our PSU Alumni coordinator Matt Brush at [email protected]. Those large donations would be considered "investments" in the film and therefore you would hopefully end up getting a significant portion of your money back.

If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected].

Thank you for your support. With your help, and a little bit of luck, the truth can still win here.

Sincerely,

John Ziegler
