FramingPaterno.com Update

Dear FramingPaterno.com Mailing List Members:

On the eve of Joe Paterno's 86th birthday, I wanted to give you a quick update.

First, I have written a rather extensive response to the critics of our efforts (specifically to help Franco Harris question NCAA president Mark Emmert) which I think you will find very interesting. It also serves as an important recap of all of our efforts over the past five months. You can read it at this link:

Now, I am getting a lot of people asking, "what's next?"

Our hope is to make a full documentary film and release it nationwide. In order to do that, we will need to know that we will have the proper resources to overcome the inevitable effort by the media to hinder our efforts.

To that end, we have just started an investment "pledge drive" of sorts so that we can at least gauge support for this project.

We are asking for people to pledge an investment in increments of $1,000 towards the possible completion/marketing of a full film. So far, this effort has gone very well. With just one email to only our donors, we are already a third of the way towards our preliminary goal.

If you can participate, or know someone who can, please have them contact our PSU alumni coordinator Matt Brush at [email protected].

We are not looking for actual cash right now and this would not be a "donation." If the full film got made you would eventually get back at least half of your money. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask by simply responding to this e-mail.

With the holidays fast approaching, please keep in mind that this might be a good chance to share the news of our efforts with like-minded friends and family members. Please don't hesitate to drive people to our website and have them get on our mailing list.

Thanks so much for all of your support. Together, I know we can make 2013 a much better year than 2012 was with regard to this story.

Sincerely,

John  Ziegler
