Dear FramingPaterno.com Donors:

I am not asking you for money! Our Google ads campaign for our mini movie is going well enough to where that can sustain itself for at least a few weeks.

However, I am indeed asking for your help. There is an opportunity which has developed that I think may end up being a great chance for our cause to get some needed exposure and for our large film concept to be able to get funded. The best part is that I think you can help make it happen just by sending an email and asking others to do the same.

Here is the deal, Hollywood actor Vince Vaughn (a college football fan), is combining with others to produce a TV show/contest for documentary filmmakers with specific movie ideas. The grand prize is $200,000 for your film. All I want is to be part of the show so that I can get our cause some attention and traction.

Here is was I need from you....

Please send an email to [email protected] and write them a very simple email.

The subject line should be something like "I Would Watch John Ziegler on your show" and the body should just have something similar along with your name. Then I need you to spread the word to other like minded people (through Facebook and Twitter postings) to do the same thing.

This will only be effective if everyone pitches in and proves to the show that there is a significant audience out there for this subject matter. If the response is not strong then it could backfire. Please make sure we at least make a strong effort here. This may end up being the best chance this cause has of getting a full film made.

On other notes, I had lunch with former Penn State great and ESPN analyst Todd Blackledge in Ohio and he has agreed to do an interview with me for this project. I will also be releasing a new tape very soon and the last weekend of this month I will be with Franco Harris in Philadelphia and Washington, DC at conferences where the mini movie will be played to a live audience. I expect to be sending you the information on how to attend these events very soon.
